I’m a Demopublican?

After a few years of soul-searching, I really don’t think I can allign myself with one party or the other.  I’ve traditionally been a Republican, mostly due to my Christian beliefs, but now, I’m not so sure if the elephant is for me.  On the other hand, Democrats seem to want to make sure everyone is taken care of, and has a voice, which I like.  But, I feel that as a Christian, my beliefs aren’t necessarily appreciated on the left. 

 I understand the need for 2 parties, and I appreciate it.  I really do.  But maybe we could find a candidate that runs for America, and not for their party.  I’d vote for that candidate.
